With the basic construction speed of our country has been accelerated, the buildingarea is increasing, but the rapid economic development caused resources andenvironment problems at the same time. On the one hand, the rapid developmentof basic construction accelerate the consumption of concrete continuously, theconsumption of natural resources such as sand, stone is more and more big, theexcessive exploitation of sand and gravel aggregate caused serious resource depletionand environmental damage, the contradiction between the sustainable development ofconcrete and aggregate crisis is prominent increasingly. On the other hand, there aremany old buildings need to be removed and refurbished, including roads and bridges,a lot of construction waste will generated and polluted the environment seriously inthis process. However, in terms of the waste concrete component, the waste concretecan be reused completely. Due to the low strength requirement of pervious concrete,preparing the recycled aggregate pervious concrete based on the performance ofrecycled aggregates is a good way to solve these problems above-mentioned. Aboveall, it can bring a significant social benefit, economic benefit and environmentalbenefit, possess the profound significance.This article summarizes the characteristics and the usage and the status of researchand development at home and abroad of recycled aggregate and recycled aggregatepervious concrete, notes its importance to the sustainable development of society. Therecycled aggregate used in experiments comes from sand factory near Beichuan riverin Xining city, Qinghai province. This paper studies the basic properties of recycledcoarse aggregate and natural coarse aggregate, such as apparent density, waterabsorption and crushing index and analyzes the differences of the two aggregate.This paper analyzes the affect of various factors on the performance of recycledaggregate pervious concrete, designs the orthogonal test, analyzes the impact of fourfactors (particle size of recycled aggregates, water cement ratio, ratio of ash and sandratio) on the working performance and mechanical properties of recycled aggregate pervious concrete, the optimal proportioning is concluded. According to differentvibration time, the permeability was tested and the impact of vibration time on theworking performance and mechanical properties of recycled aggregate perviousconcrete was analyzed. Analyzing the frost resistance of recycled aggregate perviousconcrete by conducting freeze-thaw cycle test; The practical application of recycledaggregate pervious concrete was also tested.Finally, the paper summarizes the present problems of the recycled concrete andlook far ahead of the development prospect.
