| Our country has a vast land area, and over70%are mountains. Due to the complexenvironment of the different types, complexity, bad environment, complex liner and securityfacilities in highway are not strong. So traffic safety problems have becomed prominent,especially for two-lane highway. Because of the special conditions, the accidents andmortality rates of mountain road is significantly higher than that of plain area. Therefore,study on road traffic safety design and accident prevention countermeasures for themountainous two-lane will has a significance to reduce accident rates and provide vehiclesrunning on the road peaceful and smoothly.Firstly, the paper analysis the accident characteristic, including the distribution ofaccident form, causes, accident spatial and temporal and so on. Based on the analysis ofaccidents characteristics, the paper discerns the impact factors and proposes the impact sourceand emphatically analyzes the relationship between the drivers, vehicle, road andenvironmental with the traffic accident.Secondly, combined with road-side security classification, the paper select anddetermines the impact factors, then constructs roadside safety level evaluation model based onTOPSIS-RSR; the paper analysis the factor performance of roadside safety facilities, thenconstruct performance assessment model based on BP neural network; the paper proposessecurity measures, including roadside guardrail set, induced facility layout, drainage facilitiesoptimization, roadside landscape design on the basis of safety rating and performanceevaluation of security facilities.Then, because two-lane mountainous highway massively contain entrances, from a pointof reducing horizontal traffic’s effect on the mainline traffic safety,the paper studies theentrances reasonable position and alignment design fabric, traffic safety facilities entranceselection and arrangement, entrance traffic control and organization, to maximize theprotection of entrances traffic safety.Finally, combined with two-lane highway traffic safety features, based on the evaluationon roadside safety rating, facilities performance, the paper proposes integrated disposaltechnologies on common hazards or accident-prone sections of different characteristicstwo-lane highway from safety net area improvements, pavement skid, speed control, linearimprovement and other aspect. |
