Study On Road Network Planning Of Port Collecting And Distributing System

Port collecting and distributing system is the important interconnected channel betweenthe port and its economic hinterland. It’s the transportation system for the distribution ofcargos. In our country, road transportation is the main transportation style. It not only plays adominant role in the container transportation, but also plays an important complementary rolein the transportation of coal, ore and other bulk cargos. The rapid growth of port throughputhas put forward the higher requirements to the port collecting and distributing channels. Therational planning of port collecting and distributing system road network which can improvethe efficiency of port cargo transportation has become a serious problem to be solved.In this paper, based on the status and development trend of domestic and foreign roadnetwork of collecting and distributing system and the compilation of relevant theory, thecharacteristic of the road network of collecting and distributing system are analyzed. Then thecombined model of gray prediction Verhulst model with timing residuals amendment andlinear regression is proposed to predict port throughput. The transformation relationshipbetween the port throughput and vehicle traffic is studied. It’s the foundation for the roadcollection and distribution system planning. Road network of port collection and distributionsystem is divided into external and internal network to elaborate from layout and grade. At thesame time, the planning of sections and nodes is investigated. Traffic managementrecommendations are proposed later. The collecting and distributing road network is made upbased on all these theories. Finally, based on the theoretical methods described in this article,As Xianren Island Port an example, with the port status analysis and the prediction of vehicletraffic volume, the planning scheme and proposal of port road collection and distributionsystem is proposed. This study can not only provide ideas for the port road network planningof collection and distribution system, but also provide reference for the construction ofXianren Island Port collection and distribution road network.
