The Study Of Urban Water Logging Control And Drainage Network Planning

With urban waterlogging problems intensified over years, waterlogging became anotherimportant issue besides water pollution, air pollution and other environmental problems. Therapid development of urbanization and global climate change were the major causes leadingto waterlogging. In addition, the design capacity of networks in china could not meet therequirements of increasing rainstorm precipitation. The seeper caused by waterloggingseriously affect residents’lives and healthy.This paper analyzed the influencing factors of waterlogging and pursued approaches tosolve these problems. The main contents were shown as follows:(1) Urban waterlogging was a inevitable outcome accompanied with citilization and acombination and interaction of several related factors. This paper analyzed these factors andtheir interactions and summarized the causes for this problem.(2) The differences between domestic and drainage planning concepts, aimed at positiverelationship of urban waterlogging and drainage network planning, were discussed in thispaper. It analyzed the shortcomings of existing pipe network planning as well.(3) The design of load capacity for city’s pipe network directly related to timely and safedischarge the precipitation. In this paper, it did a planning and design for a definite areanetwork based on the latest drainage outline.(4) This analyzed the waterlogging situations in Xi’an and listed the major seeper points.The seeper points were mainly caused by pot holes and low load capacity of the pipe.Through analyzing the instances of renovation, it summed up the reasons for urbanwaterlogging in Xi’an and proposed some management strategies.(5) This paper researched on the new strategies of waterlogging governance, aboutrainwater recycling and urban planning in terms of both prevention and reduce of urbanwaterlogging occurs fundamentally.In this paper, instances of urban waterlogging were systematically analyzed. Weinvestigated the situation of waterlogging and drainage planning of Xi’an, and combinedtreatment strategies of waterlogging controlling in civil or abroad. Waterlogging treatmentrequired a combination of subjective and objective influence factors, which is related to manage levels, design level and so on. The major concern should be sustainable methodapplied on planning and designing phase. All the materials provided guide references for thewaterlogging controlling drainage plan in Xi’an.
