Bus Terminal is the main form of short-distance passenger traffic, but also for travelersgather in public places. Characterized by frequent start, high staff-intensive, passengermobility. The rational design of the illumination system can meet the requirements of thepassengers in the visual aspect of different. Safe and reliable electrical system designed toensure passenger safety, to maintain normal traffic order. Therefore, Research Bus Terminalelectrical lighting system and power supply system for the protection of people’s daily life,work has a very important significance.Topic of this paper is the electrical lighting system and power supply system of apassenger car, and discusses in detail the electrical lighting system and power supply system,such as calculations of loads, calculations of short-circuit currents, calculations ofillumination, design of the lighting system, calculations of load grades, design of thelow-voltage distribution system, connection design of the main electric circuit, calculations ofthe reactive power compensation, selections of transformers, design of the substation oncesystem, lightning protection and earthing and so on.In this thesis, mainly studied the following aspects of content.1. Introduction: Introduction the development status, trends and research purposes of thisproject, the project survey and design content of the research project in this subject.2. Statistical the system calculations: Introduction the objective and methods of loadcalculation,the purpose and methods of short circuit current. Statistical alculation data of thisengineering system under normal and fault condition, that is statistical the data of calculationsof loads and calculations of short-circuit current.3. Lighting system: First, introduction the relevant knowledge of lighting technology, theselection principles of lighting design, emergency lighting related content. Then, compare thedifferent methods of illumination calculation. Finally, design the lighting system of thisproject according to the different areas.4. Supply and distribution system: Introduction the load classification and thecorresponding power supply requirements, the classification of load distribution mode,selection of electrical equipment and wires, design the low voltage power supply anddistribution system of this project.5. power distribution room: Introduction the calculation methods of peak currents andreactive power compensationds, and how to choose the transformer, connection design of the main electric circuit, select the equipment and wires in power distribution room, design theproject of the transformer room.6. Lightning protection and earthing: determine the level of lightning protection, rationaluse of lightning protection, grounding measures, the design of l lightning protection andearthing for the project, select the equipment and wires power distribution room equipmentand wires.
