Research On Micro Simulation System Of Intersection Signal Control Of Bus Priority

Intelligent Transportation System is the main and important development direction in thefield of research of transportation systems for the present stage, even for the futuretransportation system. Intelligent Road System is a major part of ITS, which has been theresearch hotspots in developed countries. Based on the system, this paper puts for ward theintersection road-vehicle collaborative experiment system framework and the correspondingimplementation method and builds the system platfor m. The main functions which realized bythe expe riment platfor m is described as follows: avoiding vehicle automatic collision,positioning vehicle, wireless data transceiver, controlling traffic light timing, etc. And throughthe intersection traffic signal lights of the timing control, reducing time delay and increasingpunctuality of the later bus in the intersection. In this paper, the mainly work is as follows:1. Design a two-lane road intersection model, set up the hardware platform for two-laneintersection, and determine the running routes for vehicles.2. Plan vehicle’s running route in order to achieve keeping the vehicle running in thegiven loop, which includes basic actions of vehicle, vehicle automatic collision avoidance,vehicle positioning and vehicle communication function.3. Design the control system for the traffic light, including the construction of the trafficlight hardware platform, the software control of the traffic light time, and the wirelesscommunication between traffic light and vehicles.4. Design the traffic light timing plan based on bus priority, which mainly discusses thetiming planning for the condition that there are only a few buses cross through the intersectionand the timing planning for the condition that there are more buses pass through theintersection, and which use the method of using fuzzy logic control to adjust the timing oftraffic light for the latter.
