It promotes the rapid development of China’s urbanization process when reform&opening and population growth are in China with traffic congestion in some countries, and itbecomes worsen in resent years. So it is necessary to improve traffic congestion thatimproving traffic circulation line trunk road capacity, reducing delays due to congestion ofvehicles produced. It was significance improving traffic circulation by optimizing trafficsignal control to improve two-way green wave traffic congestion because of high cost offunds, long construction period and less available land resources. As the Ant ColonyAlgorithm has good information positive feedback, distributed computing, parallelism andstrong robustness, etc., and Genetic Algorithm simulates the natural survival of the fittestevolutionary thought, so it attracted the attention of scholars in the field and a high degree ofconcern that the GAAA mixing Genetic Algorithm with Ant Colony Algorithm is applied insolving the model of traffic signal Green Wave control.In this paper, the improved algorithms of GAAA is used to solve the optimal solution ofmodel of traffic signal with two-way Green Wave control in order to develop better it. It isestablished the optimization model of performance indicators of two-way Green Wave controlbased on Traffic Control Theory, such as delays, road intersections queuing length and vehicletraffic through the parking rate. According to the basic principles of ant colony algorithmcombined with genetic algorithm, improve the algorithm based on GAAA and buildintegrated intelligent optimization algorithms for the solution of traffic signal control. Usingan improved algorithm of GAAA solves the model of traffic signal with two-way Green Wavecontrol with MATLAB software programming.It is pretreated that the required statistical data is from two adjacent roads intersectionalong the trunk road. The processed data are into the established model in this paper, then use MATLAB software through improved algorithm of GAAA to solve the problem, getting thesolution and performance evaluation value of traffic signal with two-way Green Wave controlafter optimization, verifying the feasibility of the model algorithm, proving the feasibility ofimproved algorithm based on GAAA solve the traffic signal configuration problems correctlyand feasibly, and improving traffic congestion.
