A Study On Function Wetland Ecosystem Planning In Residential Area Of Nanchang City

Nowadays China’s cities are in a high speed development, as well as the constructionof residential districts. Numerous of wetland loss and imbalance of freshwater causedby the construction activities can be seen. In view of this, we put forward the conceptof functional wetland, which emphasizes the priority of ecosystem，and is combinedby artificial wetland and water reuse technology. The functional wetland system hasmunicipal, environment, landscape and multiple services. Now we put Hongjiaozhouresidential area of Nanchang City as an example, through an exploration ofconstruction of functional wetland system in residential area to reverse thedevelopment mode existing, and to combine the residential construction and theprotection of ecological environment together.This research is composed of the following parts:(1) Sum up the relevant theory and practice, including the functional integration ofwetland in Hua Qiao University, Xiamen Campus. Then demonstrated the feasibilityof promoting the similar experience to residential areas, so as to lay the theoreticalfoundation for our study.(2) Carry out research on Hongjiaozhou residential district. Through the optimizationof water to achieve the goal of changing "water landscape" to "wetland", furtherdemonstrates the necessity and feasibility of combining wetland and human’ssettlements.(3) Use the method of "ecosystem first" to re-plan the selected test area inHongjiaozhou area, based on the transition of functional wetland, upgrade the"wetland" to "functional wetland" in residential district. Then demonstrated themethod and key points of the construction of functional wetland.The research of functional wetland in residential area aims to promote a new planningmethod, take the wetland as a mean to solve the imbalance of freshwater resources inour cities, which has an instructional significance to the promotion of ecologicalcivilization construction in human’s settlement environment.
