Stability analysis of three-dimensional slope is a field that many scholars study on all the time. Because of the advantage on the dimension, the analysis result is closer to the real result than two-dimensional slope which is quite hot nowadays. And also because of such advantage, it adds to various difficulties in all aspects of the research on the three-dimensional slope stability. Although the research process is groping, we never give up to science. This paper summaries and studies the three dimensional method of limit equilibrium method to the three dimensional stability of slope. To solve the problems of slope stability analysis in practical engineering, the development of cross subject study from theory to practice is explored. The main work is as follows:(1)A number of assumptions are introduced. Calculate the number of unknowns, known quantity and equations which are set through the basic conditions of physical and mechanical requirements. Apply representative assumption and assume slip surface as symmetrical slip surface. To simplify force it assumes that only meet some moment balance and static equilibrium.(2)Two results of three dimensional stability analysis which are extended from two dimensional stability analysis results are obtained on the following conditions, one is ignoring the shear force between them on the vertical direction of cylinder and the shear force of the bottom sliding face which is perpendicular to the whole sliding direction, the other is keeping static equilibrium in the vertical direction and the overall moment balance around the latter direction.(3)Apply acceptant criteria of Metropolis: and use the so-called parameters of cooling table to control the calculation process, and then submit an annealing method of an approximate optimal solution in the polynomial time of calculation process which can effectively improve the search efficiency of the sliding surface. (4)The combining application of the stability coefficient calculation of three-dimensional limit equilibrium and searching slip surface which is simulated annealing algorithm can analyze the stability of three-dimensional slope in ShuangLi iron ore, and can acquire the minimum safety factor by calculating, and acquire the space position of three-dimensional dangerous sliding surface with stimulating. It is better for going on with the work of steep slope or taking protective measuresFinally, the paper focuses more on practical application of the theoretical basis. Most of the relevant literatures are changed on theoretical models, get the final validation, and then determine the authenticity and reliability of the study. But it has not been applied to the engineering projects. I hope I can get more achievements for the human society and engineering activities in the future academic research.
