With the rapid development of industrial technology, the lubrication of mechanicalfriction pair has become increasingly demanding. Single lubricating technologygradually reveals shortcomings, and composite lubricating technology which isbecoming a research hotspot has shown a large application potential. The liquidlubricating materials and solid lubricating materials of composite lubricating system canrealize functional complementation, overcome their own shortcomings, improvelubrication life and reliability. Titanium complex grease is a new grease. It can replaceconventional high-performance grease on many occasions and achieve the desiredresults. Therefore, the lubrication performance study of composite system composed ofthe grease and solid film has great theoretical and practical significance.This paper research the formulas of Ti-complex by homemade grease preparationdevice, including saponification temperature, heating refining methods and base oiladded way. Examine the performance of Ti-complex grease form physicochemicalproperties and tribological performance. Optimize the preparation process and improveproduction efficiency.Study the effect of borate additive on Ti-complex grease, examine the effect fromphysicochemical and EP anti-wear properties, and determine the optimum amount ofadditive in the grease, and use SEM and EDAX technique to analyze its mechanism.Study the lubrication performance of Ti-complex grease in high temperature. Throughcomparative analysis of the surface morphology of the steel balls, obtained that borateand MoS2can improve maximum service temperature of Ti-complex grease. But itgenerates antagonism when the two additives are used together. Establish lubricatingmodel to analyze the mechanism of additive to high temperature performance.Combining surface morphology with macro data, drive the conclusion that judgingwhether the Ti-complex grease has failed or not through ball wear diameter. Examinelubricating performance of Ti-complex grease-micro-arc oxidation film system andTi-complex grease-DLC film system by MG-2000wear tester. Experimental resultsshow that composite lubricating technology improve lubricating effect effectively.Investigate the impact of working load, and obtain the suitable working load of thesetwo systems. Micro-arc oxidation film lubrication system is also affected by surfaceroughness. In order to realize ideal lubrication, the roughness can not be too high or toolow. Analyze the mechanism of composite system through lubrication model. Thelubrication performance of micro-arc oxidation film is determined by its porous surface.DLC system largely depends on its excellent mechanical properties, and the graphite ofDLC also has some positive impacts.
