With the improvement of the industrial production level, the higher request ofgrease comprehensive performance have been proposed. As a new type ofhigh-performance grease, titanium complex grease has excellent comprehensiveperformance and biodegradability, and which has widely application prospect. Now theprocess and formula of the titanium complex grease has been basically matured andstabled, and has begun to the practical application stage. For grease, the join of theadditives has a vital significance to whether it can work more efficiently. Thereforethrough the additives to do the research of the modification of the titanium complexgrease, and finally receive a kind of grease which could apply to actual production withgood performance is very important.This paper adopts the way of adding additives to the titanium complex grease formodification research. Respectively select oil-soluble additives T202and solid additivesmolybdenum disulfide to complete the modification research for grease. Throughfour-ball friction-wear test to inspect its tribological performance. Through drop pointtest, penetration test to inspect its physical and chemical properties. Receive the bestaddition amount for titanium complex grease of T202and molybdenum disulfide, andfinally come to a conclusion that molybdenum disulfide has a better effect onwear-resistant and friction-reducing than T202. Considering the wear-resistantsynergistic effect, this paper mix the two kind of additive with antioxidants at a certainproportion, prepared a kind of new titanium complex grease with compound additiveswhich has outstanding performance, and then analysis its lubricating mechanism. Theexperiment adopt the uniform design experimentation, and processing the result throughregression analysis method, set up the mathematical model of the titanium complexgrease about the addition amount of the three kinds of additives, obtain its best mixproportion. The titanium complex grease with compound additive has a great promotecompared with the fundamental grease.Research on the tribological performance of the titanium complex grease withcompound additive for iron base material surface. Under the condition of different loadand speed, analysis its lubrication performance in the micro-arc oxidation film and thesurface of hard aluminum alloy substrate material, obtain the optimum workingcondition, and using SEM and EDAX technique to further analysis its mechanism.Research on the suitable working parameters of the serpentine powder which as anadditive for the titanium complex grease. Under different load, speed and temperatureconditions, compared the effect of serpentine and compound additive for the property ofthe titanium complex grease. Meanwhile, discuss the compatibility of the serpentine powder with other additives..
