Gear mechanism is widely used in modern mechanical transmission. The microgear reducer with the advantages of strong bearing capacity, small size, highefficiency and stable transmission, etc can meet the pressing needs of high precisionmechanical system application domain such as medical equioment, aerospace, robot,etc. In the same conditions, the cycloidal gear tooth profile compared with theinvolute gear tooth profile, its number of teeth is few when it is not undercut and itssliding rate is small and uniform. The cycloidal tooth profile is more suitable for theapplication of micro redncer.The study of cycloidal tooth profile in the domestic and overseas focuses onthe theory of cycloidal tooth profile, cycloidal tooth profile modification andcycloid parameters optimization, etc and puts forward a variety of cycloid toothprofile. In the article, the existing various types of cycloidal tooth profile are theresearch object. The tooth profile performance evaluation system is established. Therelatively optimal tooth profile is chosen and the planetary transmission form isdetermined. Based on the meshing theory, the cycloidal modificatory tooth profilegear is research how to gearing under the condition of the different interval value.The tooth profile curve equation is established. The article also study out the newtooth profile parameters and complete the design of gear.Based on the principle of gear machining generating method, gear shaper cuttermachining coordinates of cycloidal gear is established. Through homogeneoustransformation, the coordinate transformation matrix is deduced in the process ofenvelope. Through the envelope method and the movement method, the pinioncutter tooth profile surface equation is respectively deduced. The pinion cutter toothprofile mathematical modal is established. By using the Matlab, the pinion cuttertooth profile tooth surface simulation is completed. Through the method of reverseengineering design, the space coordinate on the simulation surface of the tooth turninto the Pro/E modeling data file and the pinion cutter single tooth model and entiretooth model are established.The article focuses on the planet carrier of reducer key parts. In view of theplanet carrier load, the stress correction is proposed under the condition ofconsidering the uneven load and distributing stress in the shaft hole half circularsurface. Through the reasonable meshing method, the static analysis of planetcarrier is completed. And then the research of major parameters of planet carrierhow to effect on its performance is completed. It also provides the basis for theoptimization design of planetary frame. Considering the problem of the gear tooth surface nonlinear contact, the finiteelement method is used studying the problem. The torque on the gear wheel ischanged to the concentrated force on the node in the center hole of gear and the realstress field of gear contact is obtained. Finally the article completes the gear contactanalysis. In order to avoid reasonance phenomena occurring, the high speed of inputshaft and gear have been done the modal analysis.In this paper, a virtual prototype of the reducer is established. By checking theinterference of prototype, the structure is optimized. Carring out the motionsimulation for the prototype and on the base of the result of motion emulation,making sure the exact of structural design.Finally the design of the micro-reducer iscompleted.
