Face gear transmission technology was first applied to the helicopter main reducer.Its unique split-collection transmission advantage greatly meets the requirements of light weight in the aviation field.At present,the research on face gear transmission technology is constantly mature,but most of the research The direction is still dominated by spur gears formed by involute cylindrical gears.In order to solve the problem of the single tooth structure of the face gear transmission system,this paper takes the new tooth structure of the face gear as the main innovation point,and takes the arc tooth profile arc gear pair with special processing methods as the research object to further study The complex curved surface design method of the face gear pair was further explored,and the tooth surface contact analysis(TCA)was used to explore the distribution trend of the tooth surface meshing contact traces of the arc tooth profile arc tooth face gear pair under different types of installation errors.The variation law of transmission error.The main research results of the paper are as follows:(1)The machining methods of orthogonal spur gear pairs and the law of conjugate development of complex curved surfaces are revealed.Based on the gear meshing principle and differential geometry,the tooth surface equation of the involute cylindrical gear shaper was derived based on the development and processing model of the orthogonal spur gear,and the space coordinate transformation matrix was constructed to obtain the orthogonal straight The working tooth surface equation,transition tooth surface equation and meshing equation of the tooth face gear provide important theoretical basis for subsequent research.(2)Established the processing model of the arc tooth profile of the arc tooth face gear pair,and deduced the equation of the cutter tooth profile of the arc tooth profile gear and the tooth surface equation of the production rack.The formation movement of the cutter head constructs the space coordinate transformation matrix of the face gear and the spur gear respectively.The position vector equation,unit normal equation and meshing equation of the arc tooth profile arc tooth face gear and the spur gear concave-convex surface are derived.(3)An accurate creation method for the complex curved surface of the arc tooth profile of the arc tooth face gear pair is proposed.Different parameter discrete method steps are proposed according to the model of the face gear and the pinion gear.To solve the tooth surface equation,the tooth surface point cloud coordinates of the face gear and the pinion are obtained,and the point cloud is finally fitted to obtain the solid model of the arc tooth profile of the arc tooth face gear pair.(4)It is verified that the complex tooth structure of the arc tooth profile gear pair of circular arc tooth profile has conjugate meshing property,and a visualized model of the tooth profile contact trace in the ideal state is obtained by tooth surface contact analysis(TCA).Later,different types of installation errors were introduced into the positional relationship of the face gear pair,and the variation rule of the tooth surface contact trace and transmission error containing the error was explored,and the conclusion was finally reached: The mounting sensitivity in the direction is the highest,and the mounting sensitivity in the tooth width direction is the lowest.The results of this study have important guiding significance for the assembly of the arc tooth profile gear pair with the arc tooth profile in the actual process.
