The assembled composite floor of light steel and lightweight aggregate concrete is a new typeof composite slab which is completed by simply fabricating the two parts of thin-walled steelbeams and precast lightweight aggregate concrete plates. Compared with the traditionalsteel-concrete composite floor, the composite floor presented here has the advantages of lighterweight and less steel consumption, being convenient for construction and less wet work. Therefore, research of construction and mechanical performance of the composite floor presentedhere has important theoretical significance and engineering value. Taking the composite slabs asobject of study, the main research work finished in the thesis includes:The static load test of seven composite floors and two ones after impact action were finished. The experimental phenomenon and the damage characteristics of the composite floors wereobserved, and the load-deflection curves, load-slip curves and load-strain curves of the compositeslabs were analyzed. Based on the experimental results, effect of different construction factors suchas slotting or embossing of the precast concrete slabs and the shear keys on the mechanicalperformance of the composite floors are compared. Finally, two floor specimens werenumerically analyzed using the finite element software ANSYS, and the results were comparedwith the experimental.results.Based on experimental results and analysis of them, it is concluded that (1) Damage of thenew composite floors is longitudinal shear failure.(2) The embossing or slotting of the precastconcrete slabs can not help increasing the stiffness of the composite slabs, but may enhance theentirety of composite floor and bearing capacity of composite floors.(3) Set of shear keys andproper use of structural adhesives for bonding the precast concrete plates and the steel beams mayenhance the entirety of composite floors and the bearing capacity of the composite floors.(4) Thecomposite floors for which the solid web beams are used for the steel beams have stronger stiffnessand bearing capacity than that the trussed beams are used.(5) Impact action will cause permanentstress damage of the composite floors, and the degree of damage in the1/4span of the floor islarger than that in the middle span.
