The precision transmission of cycloid steel ball planetary transmission mechanism ismainly achieved by the four-point contact structure. Between the ball and cycloid groove,always keep the four-point contact. There is two-point contact force in the four-pointcontact. In the process of transmission, real-time wear clearance and interference ofthermal expansion existing in two kinds of ball meshing pair bring backlash and abnormalmeshing. Weak rigidity combination planetary disc as a new kind of clearance adjustingdevice, which can achieve real-time circumferential rigid rotation and micro axialdisplacement, make the precision ball transmission no real-time backlash.This article analyzes the transmission characteristics of cycloid steel ball planetarytransmission from the architecture and transmission principle. The structure characteristicsof meshing with no tolerance and the type of the existing gap regulating mechanism andregulating principle are analyzed. Then, a new type of real-time return difference gapregulating mechanism called weak rigid modular planetary disc is presented. Andintroduces the principle and design key points and force analysis of new structureadjusting clearance.Gap of mechanical system is analyzed combining with the workingprinciple of the cycloid steel ball planetary transmission organizations gap formation. Andthe method for calculating the clearance is given.Design the structure of elastomer based on the analysis of the structure of modularplanetary disc.The property of the disc spring and the influence factors of disc springelastic force were analyzed. The design needs of the various parts of the composite discare analyzed.The control process of axial clearance and axial force of the new mechanismwere researched. The control ability of disc spring is analyzed through simulationexperiment. The mechanical properties curve of elastomer is simulated by Abquse. Andthe simulation curve is compared with theoretical curve.Parameter optimization is accomplished through the MATLAB optimizationprocedures by establishing fuzzy optimization mathematical model of minimum volumeof weak rigidity combination planetary disc based on the fuzzy optimization theory. Then, the3D parametric models is accomplished through the software Pro/E. Therefore,parametric design of weak rigidity combination planetary disc connected by pins iscompleted.
