The traditional development of large press equipment was mainly based oncalculation by using a large number of empirical formula and scientific experiment.AtInformulation Times,simulation technique has been a more and more important andefficient research methods as well as theoretical calculation and experiment with thedevelopment of computer software and hardware.Single field simulation is unable to build complicated mechnical system simulationmodel,which make it unable to meet the repuirements of multi-disciplinary integration ofmechanical accuracy,rigidty and flexibility.A complicated simulation model that is morecloser to the actual situation can be built with multi-software co-simulationtechnology,which achieve mutual complementarity and improve rationality,systematic and confidence of the simulation result.This paper is a part of the key special project “Research on the AutomaticLoading/Unloading Technology of Press Lines in the Large Servo Press”. Undertaken bythe research group of Yanshan University. Trajectory planning of the loading/unloadingrobot was done in this paper.This paper researched into the multi-software co-simulationtechnology of large robotic press line based on transmission interface between differentsingle field simulation software. At last the comprehensive performance evaluation indexof the press line was researched. A more detailed description of the research is presentedas follows.Firstly,the author analysised the adavantage and disadvantage of each single fieldsimulation software,as well as data transmission interfaces between them that could beused for multi-software simulation.At same time,multi-software co-simulation strategyand simulation scheme based on interface were researched.Secondly,trajectory planning of the loading/unloading robot was done.Dynamic loadof mold was gained through a numerical simulation of the automobile’s body-side sheetdrawing forming,which provided data for building the the co-simulation model.The3D model of the press line was built and then the assembly interfereencechecking and the motion checking were done. A multi-software co-simulation model was built according to the above-mentioned simulation scheme.Operated the simulation andthen analysised the simulation result.The comprehensive performance evaluation indexes of the press line was putforward.Evaluated the comprehensive performance of the press line by uising the aboveindexes.
