Space design itself has the property of experience, is fundamentally about theexperience of culture, and the cultural function of schools is unmatched by any othersocial organization. The university campus is a functional composite synthesis, campusenvironment not only provide the material conditions for academic, also providestudents with spirit. Outside of the campus space as an important part of campusenvironment, it not only has the function of beautification environment also can affectthe college students psychology and values. Drama performance space as a kind ofimportant, indispensable and has a long history of traditional public space, it deservesmore attention.The purpose of this study is that: at present most of the campus landscape designpresents a relatively pay attention to the external form, the lack of the attention tohuman nature, resulting in a series of problems. In public space in the dramaperformance space as the research object, combining the characteristics of its functionalcomposite, from the perspective of the user space experience, analysis how under thebackground in the era of rapid development, to meet the demand of students (opennessneeds, security needs, illicit close sex, culture and entertainment requirements, aestheticrequirements, etc.), increase the appeal of the space, improving the quality of landscapespace, create the induced behavior of the campus outdoor play space, construction sitesand emotional experience. Eventually effectively activate the functions of the campusenvironment space and create a vibrant campus environment.This article uses the research methods are: the field investigation, questionnaireanalysis, literature review, case design, etc. In this paper, the main contents: through thefield investigation of Chongqing Universities campus research, analysis of presentsituation and problems of the campus outer space; Combining with the physical andmental development of college students analysis in outdoor activity space shows theimportance of exist on campus space; With environmental psychology, the theoreticalbasis of environmental behavior and so on, to analyze the relations between the spatialexperience and drama performance space and its effect, discusses elements of spatialexperience acquired; Then summarized on the basis of the space experience to createvibrant campus drama performance space design methods.This paper concluded as follows: ①landscape design combining with consideration of spatial experience caneffectively build meaning and emotional experience. Design should abandon tooformalist, combined with the design method of the human nature, create a pleasantspace;②spatial experience acquired elements: the physical environment for the spaceexperience to create the opportunity, spatial experience is obtained through behavior,activity is fascinating. Only users rather than participate in the activities of the space, isthe fundamental factor determining spatial dynamic;③from the perspective of spatial experience, explore induced behavior show spacedesign method, taking chongqing huxi campus at the university of north park design asan example, in order to create a rich connotation, personalized vibrant campusenvironment.
