The Urban Design Study On The Southwest Mountainous Tourist Town

Villages and towns are rural and urban transitional level in Chinese urban system,which play the role of a bridge between urban and rural areas, it is the key point ofurban-rural integration development. In recent years, tourism town has become animportant development mode in new pattern urbanization in our country. Manymountain towns are carrying out large scale construction and development with the goalof tourism town in southwestern china. But the southwestern towns locate in the upperYangtze river area with high ecological sensitivity and obvious geological characteristic.Its uniqueness and importance of planning and design can not get targeted guidancefrom the existing theoretical research. Township planning, tourism planning,conservation programme for historical and cultural towns go their own ways, which cannot guarantee the integrity of space construction of tourism town. Facing thecomprehensive conflicts among nature, humanistic, economy, society in thedevelopment of southwestern mountain tourism towns, it become a new problem to faceand think in urban design that whether a comprehensive and scientific guidance can beprovided through the method of urban design, how to design the city pointedly. It alsobecome an important purpose in thesis research.The writer targets southwestern mountain tourism towns as object of study. Wehope to discusses how to through the method of urban design, In respect for the localnatural and human environment conditions, integrate and develop tourism resources andpromote the local tourism development and urban construction. The studying is in thestart of the problem which in the tourism development and tourism town planning ofSouthwestern mountainous towns, combined with the characteristics of the local towns,tourism resources, tourism resources development model and influence of the urbantourism development, and through my involvement in the related projects. Finally, Ipropose the pertinent urban design principle for southwestern mountain tourism towns.This paper follows the basic idea of "putting forward the problem-the theoreticalanalysis-practical analysis-problem solving", the framework of the paper is roughly asfollowing:The first part is the first and second chapter: The introductions, southwesternmountain tourism towns development and problem analysis. Mainly discusses thebackground of the subject and the importance of the research object of scope, establish the thesis research methods and the implementation of the framework; And analysis oftourism in the rise and development of the towns development present situation,summarizes its developing and planning in the main problems, and in view of theproblems put forward "the urban design of tourist town planning and design hasapplicability" of the case.The second part is the third and fourth chapter: Related research analysis andexperience learning, southwestern mountain tourism towns special tourism resourcesand tourism resources development. After reviewing the related theories, first toresearch on correlation analysis and experience summary for reference. Then discusslocal urban space morphology, local town’s tourism resources and tourism resourcesdevelopment pattern, analyzed the influence of the tourism development of local towns,lay a theoretical foundation to solve these problems.The third part is the fifth chapter: the southwestern mountain tourism towns urbandesign practice analysis. To analyze two cases related to urban design for reference, andthe author involved in this kind of urban design as the object, discusses on the practicallevel of southwestern mountain tourism towns urban design method.The fourth part is the sixth and seventh chapter: southwestern mountain tourismtowns urban design method strategy, epilogue. Based on the previous theoreticalanalysis and practical exploration, this paper puts forward suitable for southwesternmountain tourism towns of urban design approach strategy. The final summary andprospect of the subject.
