At present,urbanization is the most rapid trend of the times.While urbanization is advancing rapidly,it has also brought a serious crisis to my country’s vast mountain historical and cultural towns.Historical and cultural towns are constantly facing the background of this era.Shrinking challenges,and shrinking will become the normal development of rural areas and famous towns in the future.At the same time,in the process of rural shrinkage,the value composition of the mountainous historical and cultural towns in the southwest is also facing difficult challenges.How to solve the shrinking crisis of historical and cultural towns in mountainous areas,parallel development and protection,and realize the sustainable development and sustainable protection of historical and cultural towns will become the key to the success of the protection of contemporary mountain historical and cultural towns.This paper is problem-oriented,with discovery-analysis-problem solving(recommendation)as the logic of thinking.Through in-depth research on the driving factors,shrinkage characteristics and value loss of famous historical and cultural towns in mountainous areas,it explores the existence of historical and cultural towns in mountainous areas.Under the current shrinkage background,the shrinkage changes and the degree of influence on the value composition,understand the change status and trends of the historical and cultural towns in the mountains under the background of rural shrinkage,and hope to use this as an entry point for the historical and cultural context of my country’s contemporary social development.The development of the protection of famous towns provides more accurate basic support.This article first summarizes and analyzes the basic situation,protection and development process and characteristics of famous historical and cultural towns in southwestern mountainous regions.On this basis,four typical historical and cultural towns in mountainous regions are selected as the research objects.The decline of traditional functions,the weakening of traditional culture,and the imbalance of the ecological environment analyze the current shrinkage of historical and cultural towns in mountainous areas,and summarize the shrinking characteristics of historical and cultural towns in southwestern mountainous areas.At the same time,this article selects a typical case-Fubao Ancient Town as the object of quantitative analysis.According to the characteristics of the historical and cultural towns in the mountains,the impact of population,industry,land,and human settlements on the driving force of rural shrinkage in Fubao Ancient Town The factors are analyzed,the evaluation system of rural shrinkage driving force in Fubao ancient town is established,and the influencing factors of rural shrinkage driving force in Fubao ancient town are evaluated through PLS partial least square regression analysis.At the same time,taking the ancient town of Fubao as the research object,construct an index system and use the entropy method and the comprehensive index method to calculate the impairment index of the value composition of the ancient town of Fubao in the process of rural shrinkage.Finally,based on the above research,the concept of "smart protection" is introduced to construct a harmonious development model for the development and protection of historical and cultural towns,so as to realize the sustainability of famous towns.The contradictions and problems faced by the typical cases selected in this article are representative of the famous historical and cultural towns in the southwest mountainous region.Through research,we have obtained enlightenment for the famous historical and cultural towns in the southwest mountainous region.Provide reference for the future protection and development of cultural towns.
