With the continuous development of the automation, the automatic transmissiondevelope rapidly as well. Compared to the manual transmission, the automatictransmission has gradually replaced trend. Compared with the conventional manualtransmission, the automatic transmission is simple to operate, and doesn’t have to shiftmanually. Then it can reduce driver fatigue for a long time. Because of the convenienceof easy operation of the automatic transmission, the automatic transmission become themainstream in the market. Dual clutchtransmission combines the advantages ofhydraulic automatic transmission and automatic mechanical transmission.It has achievesthe situation which power dosen’t interrupt in gear shift, shortens shift time andimproves shift quality, comfort and improves maneuverability a lot, while improves thefuel economy. Thus, dual clutch transmission became a focus of research in recent years,I believe it will be good market prospects.The traditional dualclutch transmission hydraulic system uses a hydraulic pumpdriven by the engine as a power source to power the hydraulic system, and this paperchoose electric oil pump hydraulic system as a power source for the system to reducethe torque consumption, save energy and to protect pump greatly.This paper summarizes and introduces the status of the electric oil pump hydrauliccontrol system, and summarizes the traditional dualclutch transmission hydraulicsystem and the status of the development of dualclutchtransmission.And propose keytechnologies ofthe dualclutch transmission with electric oil pump hydraulic controlsystem.This paper compares the difference between the electric oil pump hydraulic controlsystem and conventional hydraulic control system. The structure and working principleof the electric oil pump control system for the dual clutch transmission areanalyzed.Analyze the process of clutch switch during shifting of electric oil pumphydraulic control system for dualclutch transmission. Develope the rule curve of upshiftand downshift. The clutch overlap and pressure ofgear shift during a shift change hasbeen described.Analysis the operation of hydraulic piston cylinderof the electric oilpump control system during upshift and downshift,and establish the mathematicalmodel of clutch torque variation.Use AMESim to build physical model of dual clutch transmission. The main models contain engine model, clutch model, synchronization model, driver model,driving cycle model, tire models, and each model parameters are set. Use Matlab/Simulink to build a control part model, contain clutch switch control module, shiftschedule module, launch control module and so on.In this paper, co-simulation of AMESim and Simulink is used. Engine speed andclutch pressure changes of the dual clutch automatic transmission during upshift anddownshift are simulated. And analysis fuel economy based on NEDC, UDDS drivingcycle for the simulation. The dual clutch automatic transmission with the hydraulicsystem of electric oil pump has an advantage in terms of fuel economy.The established co-simulation platform of seven speed dual clutch transmission andhydraulic system with electric oil pump lay a foundation for more in-depth study of theclutch hydraulic system, and for dual clutch transmission for vehicle research havesome significance.
