Eccentric-involutes gear is the gear which profile modification is based on themodification coefficient changing with the position of pitch curve. The object of presentstudy is to use the kinetic characteristic of profile shift modification to get theprofile-shift-modification-eccentric-involutes gear.Because of the existence of backlash, non-stationary, vibration and noise appear invarying-coefficient-shift-modification gear transmission. Profile-shift-modification isbest wildly used in gear profile modification. Based on the variation of modificationcoefficient, the method of establishing the mathematical model for tooth profile ofvarying-coefficient-shift-modification gear is worked out and verify available.In this paper, aiming at characteristics of eccentric-involutes gear transmission,referring to the differential model of eccentric involutes gears transmission, theaddendum modification of the varying-coefficient-shift-modification gear is obtained.And the generating rack is established with the addendum modification and standardrack. Then based on the pure-rolling model and equation of no clearance mesh, themathematical model for tooth profile of the varying-coefficient-shift-modification gearis obtained. And then the tooth profile of the driving and driven gear are exported intoMATLAB, and introduced into Pro/E as files, to create3D models and assembly.Finally, the assembled3D entity model is exported into ADAMS, to establish thevarying-coefficient-shift-modification transmission model, and to get the data of theanalysis. Then the correctness of the tooth profile is verified by the comparison of theresult of the analysis and the kinematics characteristics of eccentric-involutes geartransmission.
