The joints connecting the wing and pylon is an important part in the aircraft pylon departmentsection, which can transmit engine loads, contrain the relative position of wing and pylon, change thetransmission path of engine loads and so on. In addtion, In the aircraft pylon department section, Thejoints connecting the wing and pylon are not only the key bearing-parts, but also the main areas proneto plastic deformation and structure damageļ¼Œfailure. So, its strength and stiffness have a direct effecton the load tranmittion among the wing, engine, and pylon, affecting the flight safety. Therefore,experimental analysis on the static strength and destruction has a practical significance.Based on the connection need of the XXX aircraft static test of pylon, a set of the jointsconnecting the wing and pylon are designed, and applied in the static test of pylon. And the jointstrength are analyzed by using the finite element software Patran&Nastran. At the same time, with thestatic test of the XXX aircraft pylon as the carrier of the joints connecting the wing and pylon, thejoint linked the under rod of pylon and the wing, is analyzed, and that results are compared with thefinite element analysis results. The Comparison results not only validate the rationality of the structuredesign of the joints, the feasibility of the method of using the finite element modeling to analyze thejoints strength, but also provide technical support for the design of damage test of the jointsconnecting the wing and pylon in the C919aircraft.Synthesizing the load characteristics of the joints connecting the wing and pylon, the test purposeand the requirements of destruction test of the joints connecting the wing and pylon, and analyticexperience for strength of the joint in the static test of IPS pylon, a set of destruction test schemes ofthe joints connecting the wing and pylon of XXX aircraft are developed. The testing scheme arecomposed of test supporting scheme, test loading scheme and the layout design of tests. According tothe test supporting and loading scheme, the support platform, test fixture and the loading section aredesigned, and checked for strength.
