Aircraft digital and flexible assembly technology is a hotspot in research of aviationmanufacturing technology in recent years. By using computer aided design and manufacturingtechnology, greatly improve the aircraft assembly equipment for the suitability of the product. Asbased on the typical aircraft parts assembly process and the product structure characteristics, byanalysis the development trend of the plane frame class structure and tooling positioning requirementsand according to flexible positioning hole skeleton of parts process node as the research object, aimedat developed a technology system to reconstruct the formation with low tooling cost. By introducing aremovable tooling framework structure and flexible positioning unit for intersection hole, Solve theskeleton of components of flexible positioning demand for hardware structure. By the method ofgeometric modeling function, solved the tooling reconfigurable and interference checking problems,specific work content as follows:(1)According to the assembly process requirements, combining with parts structurecharacteristics and principle of positioning, excavated the need of components to the production offlexible positioning, raised overall solution for tooling system.(2)As the methods of tooling reconfiguration, according to the part’s structural characteristics,raised a fixture rapid reconstruction method based on the analytical model of geometric function,Solved the complexity of flexible tooling reconfiguration.(3)According to the flexible tooling plan, searching for an affordable tooling system, and designthe hardware structure, made the demand for hardware structure solved.(4)Developed the tooling control system, not only finish the control of parallel mechanism butalso created conditions for system integration control.
