The foamed concrete is becoming a new energy-saving material for walls due toits light weigh、good insulation、good sound absorption and good fireproofing, whichhas drawn great attention. Scholars at home and abroad have done lots of research anddevelopment, making it widely used in wall materials. Although the foamed concretehas been widely used in other provinces at present, but there is no successfulexperience in Qinghai due to its special geographical environment. The study onvarious raw materials’s effect on the properties of foamed concrete、 addingadmixtures to improve its basic performance、adding admixtures’s effect on the poredistribution in the foam concrete、analyze the thermal conduction of foamed concrete,the results are as follows:1The best range of water feed ratio is0.40~0.42. The optimum content offoaming agent is0.67%~0.73%of cement content. The optimum content of foamstabilizer is0.02%~0.025%of cement content. The optimum content of flash-settingagent is2.0%~3.0%of cement content. The optimum content of water reducingagent is0.2%~0.25%of cement content.2The best raw materials mix has been found through the orthogonal experiment.The mix is: the water feed ratio is0.40、mixing0.70%foaming agent、0.015%foamstabilizer、2.0%flash-setting agent、0.2%water reducing agent. And the besttechnology condition is: mixer speed2500r/min、mixing time2.5min. Under thiscondition, the main performances of foamed concrete are: the3d-compression is1.51Mpa、the7d-compression is2.69Mpa、the dry density is443kg/m3、the waterabsorption is48%、the thermal conductivity is0.10W/(m2·K).3For the foam concrete without admixtures, its average diameter is1.14mm,porosity is72%, thermal conductivity is0.173W/(m2·K);For the foam concrete withfoam stabilizer、flash-setting agent、water reducing agent,its average diameter is0.75mm, porosity is85%, thermal conductivity is0.10W/(m2·K).4It is concluded by thermal simulation that:130mm thick foam concrete’sthermal insulation performance is similar to60mm thick EPS’s.
