A Study On The White-and-black Technology Of Pavement Repairing Engineering In Guangdong Province

During the8th and9th ‘Five-Year Plan’ period， numbers of cement concrete pavementswere constructed in Guangdong. More than20years of operation creates various pavementdiseases in these old cement concrete pavements. With the increasing capacity of highway andload-carrying capacity， pavement structure deriorates severer and severer， more and morecement concrete pavements need rehabilitated ‘White-and-Black’ pavement repairingengineering technology can improve the utility performance of concrete pavements andprolong its service life， which is an effective method to improve old concrete pavementsservice standard， and driving confort as well. Thus far to discuss ‘White-and-Black’technology is very necessary when it is employed in the design examples of pavementrepairing engineering in Guangdong Province.Having investigated repairing engineering practice of some old cement concretepavements in Guangdong， and relied on the design examples of Boxin to Yuanshui Sectionin Mao Zhan Highway， the research， from the designer’s perspective， systematicallysummarizes ‘White-and-Black’ technology employed in pavement repairing engineering inGuangdong Province by analyzing and studying the preparation， scheme comparison andselection， and precautions of ‘White-and-Black’ The paper discusses the status of asphaltpavement, the old method, investigation and assessment of overlay design method and theprevention of reflection cracks, and through the application in the engineering example of therelated results and detailed, comprehensive, is proposed for Guangdong Province road repairof ‘White-and-Black’ technology.From the summary, refining,research, extension ofGuangdong Province more comprehensive perspective on the ‘White-and-Black’ to expoundthe key technology, which can be used for reference.
