In recent years, with the rapid development of computer, microelectronics and advancedcontrol theory, permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) servo drive technology hasmade a spurt of progress and became one of the core technology of advanced manufacturingindustry to support the development of the national economy. As the inner loop systemPMSM three loop servo control structure, the current loop is the role of the motor windingcurrent real-time, accurately tracking the specified current reference signal, its performancedirectly affects the system control precision and response speed, is the key to improving thecontrol performance of the PMSM servo system. Based on the method of back EMF ignoreunstable factors in high-speed links, Proportional-integral (PI) control method has long beenthe main method of current loop controller. By introducing the state space feedback controlalgorithm of current loop, the interference and dynamic performance of anti system has beenenhanced effectively.The article is structured in the following way. Firstly the basis and history of servosystem is introduced as well as features of PMSM digital servo system. Both researchactuality of PMSM digital servo system and its control strategies at home and abroad are alsostated. Then, the paper explained the technical principle and mode of SVPWM (space vectorpulse width modulation). Based on the explanations, a model of PMSM is established withcontrol strategy and factors of current-loop taking into account. After that, simulations ofcurrent-loop designed by PI and state feedback respectively are carried out withMATLAB/SIMULINK. These design methods are compared in the effects of current-loopcontrol using waveform analysis from results of simulations. The article briefly introduce theconstructed experimental platform and its relevant equipment. A simulation model for theconstructed platform is formulated to carry out experiments.Finally, the article details thehardware and software of the PMSM digital servo system controlled by TMS320F28035,including the overall architecture of the hardware, the DSP28035chip, signal detection circuit,inverter, main program and interrupt service routines, etc, which consolidates the basis forfurther development of PMSM digital servo system.
