The abnormal operation of one single inverter of photovoltaic micro inverter distributedgeneration system may cause bad effect on the whole system, and reduce the overall powergeneration efficiency of the system. In addition, when the micro inverter goes out of order, wewant to locate that micro inverter and trouble shoot quickly. Therefore, designed photovoltaicmicro inverter distributed generation monitoring system to find, analyze and avoid the troubleof the system. The monitoring of the relevant parameters of the system makes it significantfor the development of grid photovoltaic power generation and the stability of the gridvoltage.This paper analyzed the development situation at home and abroad about the photovoltaicmicro inverter distributed power generation monitoring system. By studying thecharacteristics of photovoltaic micro inverter distributed generation system, proposes amonitoring and controlling system solution that consists of power line carrier communicationsystem, energy management unit and PC monitoring and controlling platform.Research on the theory of power line carrier communication and analyzes the advantagesand disadvantages of various modulation. Select the FSK+DSSS modulation. And designhomologous coupling circuit to suit this power line carrier module.This subject proposes the concept of energy management unit, studies the design of theenergy management unit include the selection of key elements and parameters. The energymanagement unit of power monitoring network as a whole data interchange system is thebridge between grid and photovoltaic micro inverter distributed generation system.Develop a PC controlling and monitoring platform which based on.NET platform andC#language. And a comprehensive historical database system was established.It providesvaluable data to improve and optimize future systems as well as benefit the analysis of systemfailure and scientific research. The multi-functional and friendly interface of the systemenables users to view and operate expediently.Finally, this subject develops a test platform which consists of photovoltaic microinverter distributed generation system, energy management unit and PC controlling and monitoring system. Test for signal transmission reliability and real-time of power line carriercommunication module and energy management unit. Test for the functions of PC controllingand monitoring system. Experiments show that signal transmission quality of power linecarrier communication module and energy management unit is very stable and real-time. PCcontrolling and monitoring system can realize the function of real-time monitoring andcontrolling the parameters of distributed system and working parameters of each microphotovoltaic inverter and generate reports and create history database. Besides, the interfaceswitches smoothly.
