Permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)has the excellence of compact structure,light weight, high power density, no rotor heats and simple control compared with theinduction motor. Digital control can assure that the whole system obtain high precision andreliability and strong anti-interference ability. So the speed control system of permanentmagnet synchronous motor is becoming the direction of AC variale speed system day by day.What’s more, the appearance of high-performance microprocessor DSP and the developmentof high capacity power electronics create the advantage for the digital control of PMSM.This project researched the lift machine which is a special PMSM, the inside stator androtor structure is the same as general PMSM, so its control strategy has no any difference. Theapplication fields of PMSM lift machine is elevator, so the demand to the control system tendto low speed with high torque, higher speed response and trackable.This projiect aims atresearching a lift variable frequency drive system based on PMSM lift machine, makingsystem satisfy the need of elevator working.This paper firstly described the characteristics of the elevator industry, and brieflydiscussed the development of permanent magnet synchronous motor. Then derivate the motorcontrol strategy including vector control theory, and coordinate transformation.The thirdchapter introduced the parameter identification of PMSM, including identification ofresistance, inductance and rotor position identification,and proposed three initial position ofthe rotor pole identification method.The fourth chapter introduced how to optimize the speedfeedback of this control system. Propose two encoder signal anti-interference circuits. Thefifth chapter introduces the hardware and software platform for the entire system, thehardware circuit design is based on TI’s TMS320F28035microprocessors, software andhardware designs are based on a modular design, so the function of the whole system isclear, and easy to debug and analysis. Finally, based on the software and hardware platformfor system design,we can simulate and debugg the system, and debugg the drive system tomeet the basic needs of the elevator operation, and have better comfort sense, in order tohave good static and dynamic performance.
