Research On The Early Crack Of Concrete Road Pavement During The Construction Stage

As one of the most important pavement structures in highway engineering, cementconcrete pavement has been widely applied in highway construction. However, with thedevelopment of cement concrete pavement of high grade highway construction amount isincreasing year by year, during the process of construction and use a lot of problemshappen, such as early cracking of cement concrete pavement is one of them. How to reducethe early cracks during construction, preventing the development of pavement cracks,improve the service life of cement concrete pavement is highway worker concerns.In this paper, the research was started aiming at the problem of early cracking ofcement concrete pavement. Firstly, investigation of early cracks in cement concretepavement was carried out, combined with the engineering practice of deep analysis of thecauses of early cracks in cement concrete pavement. And then the influence on cementconcrete pavement early cracking highway engineering was analyzed, and according to thecement concrete pavement cracking during the construction of highway and provincialhighway south of Montenegro in the structure analysis, in order to prevent early crackingof the scheme. Secondly, the basic reason of cement concrete shrinkage crackingperformance of cement concrete pavement based on analysis of the mechanism, early crackof cement concrete, rational design of the mixture ratio, and shrinkage tests of dryingperiod. The results demonstrated that the dry shrinkage of concrete developed rapidly inthe initial forming, with the passage of time, the dry shrinkage deformation graduallystabilized. The best research on measuring method, during the construction of cement roadpanel warping deformation and quantitative expansion, which could provide references forthe control of cement pavement slab crack in engineering construction.Through the research of this paper, the early cracking of cement concrete pavementwas studied systematicly, and useful results were achieved. Concrete pavement willvolume contraction caused by factors of temperature shrinkage. Under the complex and theinfluence of the external environment, internal concrete tensile stress was often greaterthan the tensile strength of concrete, which caused concrete cracking. Concrete pavementduring the construction period was the warp, in the constraint base and adjacent plate underthe concrete would produce warping stress, the warping stress and the concrete cracking.The research results of this paper can provide experience to the design and construction ofcement concrete pavement.
