In recent years, as the highway traffic mileage and road network density continue toincrease, the traffic capability and service level continues to improve, the automobileinventory increases progressively day by day, the design criteria and design speed constantlytend to a high value. As the traffic flow magnitude increases or the vehicle speeds up, thetraffic noise generated during its operation will affect residents living and working along, aswell as environmentally sensitive area, and the noise pollution is extremely serious. In orderto protect the sound environment quality of the highway’s both sides, prevent and control thenoise pollution during the highway operation, the relevant departments need to work on thesound environment impact assessment, but the core of scientific work is to accurately predictthe traffic noise. Therefore, how to rightly select the noise forecast pattern, how to determinethe parameter and the forecast precision especially become very important. At present, the road traffic noise prediction models used in our country as follows: thenoise prediction model (the noise guideline model of version2009) recommended by theMinistry of Environmental Protection in the technical guidelines for environmental impactassessment of acoustic environment (HJ2.4-2009), and the noise prediction model(thespecification model of version2006) recommended by the Ministry of Transportation in thespecifications for environmental impact assessment of the highway construction project(JTGB03-2006).However, the two models exist defects respectively. The guideline modeldoes not determine the calculation methods of the single traffic sound pressure level and thespeed, and the noise propagation factors are not considered comprehensively in thespecification model. The prediction accuracy of evaluation results should be further improved.Based on the above issues, the article takes Yunnan Wukun expressway as the monitoringobject, and it compares and analyzes the prediction results of different sections of theexpressway noise monitoring, different sites of the noise monitoring, different automobileflux, different horizontal distances and height differences, different ground status terrainenvironment conditions, and different road conditions by using the noise guideline model ofversion2009and the specification model of version2006.By analyzing comparatively thepredicted and measured values of two prediction models, and researching the predictionaccuracy, the article determines the deviation of prediction models, and analyzes the existingcauses. Simultaneously, the article is certified that the prediction results of the noise guideline model of version2009are closer to the measured values, and attained the reasons andcontents which are revised. By reviewing a large number of literature and doing experimentalwork, and combining advantages of the two prediction models, to a certain extent, the articleis revised and improved based on the guideline model. The prediction results obtained fromthe revised model are compared with the accrual results and the original guideline model’sprediction results. The article also verifies the reasonableness and accuracy of the revisedmodel, and finally obtains that the applicability and accuracy of the modified model is better.
