Continuous rigid frame bridge has many advantages, which is a bridge structure ofdomestic large-scale used. However, the seismic design mainly focus on bridge using stagenow, earthquake resistance at the construction stage is still poor at present, and the continuousrigid frame bridge has the characteristics that the stress is complex, the form of structure is notstable, long construction period during the construction stage, Therefore, the seismic study onconstruction stage is very necessary.Especially in earthquake prone areas, or the area where just earthquake happened withfrequent aftershocks(For example, after the Japan Fukushima earthquake, in the subsequentsix months period, there were8305aftershocks that can be observed over the Richter1magnitude),for the bridge in the construction at these places, where the seismic study onconstruction stage is particularly important.This paper focuses on the provisional measures of using the cable damper in cantileverconstruction stage of continuous rigid frame bridge, analysis the influence of cable parameterson the damping effect, the main content is:(1)At the case of bridge pier tensioned, the paper analysis the impact of tension angleand tension position on the seismic response of the structure, in order to get the parameter oftension that can damp effectively; this paper also compare the seismic response under thecircumstance of single tension and plurality tension, to determine which stretching modedamping effect is the best.(2)At the case of beam tensioned, the paper analysis the impact of tension angle andtension position on the seismic response of the structure, in order to get the parameter oftension that can damp effectively; this paper also compare the seismic response under thecircumstance of single tension and plurality tension, to determine which stretching modedamping effect is the best.(3)By comparing and analysing of seismic response that under three different wayschanges with the ratio of span to height, which includes tension bridge pier only, tension beamonly or tension both pier and beam, the paper get the best tension form that under the form ofdifferent ratio of span to height and in the best of the damping effect.(4)With the above research results, the paper analyses the earthquake resistance of a realbridge in Sichuan, and tries to prove the accuracy of the above conclusions.
