The internet of things is called a technological revolution in the development ofinformation industry after PC machine and internet. Smart Home is one of the mainapplication fields of the internet of things. Smart Home is a measurement and controlsystem,it provide users with fast,comfortable and safe living or working environment byinstalling a variety of equipment in the residential-buildings or offices.Environmental dataacquisition system is an important part of the Smart Home. In order to collect environmentaldata to achieve the goal of intelligent control, this paper designs and realizes an environmentaldata acquisition system in Smart Home based on ZigBee technology.Firstly, the technology of the ZigBee wireless communication is applied to Smart Homeby comparing and analyzing several common technology of short distance wirelesscommunication. The overall solution of Smart Home is established and the role ofenvironmental data acquisition system in smart home is analyzed based on the actual needs ofthe project by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of several kinds of overall solutionof the Smart Home in the market.Secondly, the main chip is CC2530on-chip system, the temperature sensor is DS18B20and the light intensity sensor is On9658.The hardware of the system is designed based on thethought of function modular by Altium Designer6.9after selecting the type of device. Thehardware of the system is mainly composed of ZigBee wireless communication module,sensor module, serial communication module and other auxiliary modules.The software of thesystem is designed based on structured programming ideas and Z-Stack protocol stack byIAR integrated development environment and SZ_EMU simulator. The main function ofprogram is completes equipment net, reset, logout and collects environmental data andtransfers environmental data through protocol parsing.Lastly, the test platform is set up and the environmental data acquisition system is tested.All of the function modules of the system were tested, including ZigBee communication test,equipment net, reset and logout test, data acquisition test and data wireless transmission test.The overall performance of the system was tested. Indoor environment data which is collected by environmental data acquisition system is sent to the gateway. The gateway sendscommands to corresponding front controller to realize the intelligent control of airconditioning and lights. The test result shows that the environmental data acquisition systemcan accomplish all scheduled functions, has high practical value.
