The vitro prestressed concrete box-girder with corrugated steel webs is a new form ofbridge structure. It is a composite structure that consists of concrete roof and floor, prestressedtendon and corrugated steel webs, which can effectively improve the mechanical properties ofthe beam. In recent years, many bridges have adopted the structure of the prestressed boxgirder with corrugated steel webs, but the mechanical properties of the prestressed box girderwith corrugated webs is still less. Therefore, the prestressed concrete box girder withcorrugated steel webs is of great practical significance to study mechanical properties.Based on lots of relevant literatures at home and abroad, this paper summarizes theprestressed box girder with corrugated steel webs of the history and the present researchsituation, introduced the related theory of the prestressed box girder with corrugated steelwebs. By establishing the finite element computation model, the flexural behavior of theprestressed concrete box girder with corrugated steel webs is analyzed, factors which areaffecting the shear performance were studied deeply.Research shows that, the bending strain of prestressed box-girder with corrugated steelwebs is in accords with the plane section assumption in the beam direction, bending stress inthe transverse distribution exists obvious shear lag phenomenon. Shear strength of prestressedbox-girder with corrugated steel webs will increase with the thickness of plate, inclined plateangle steel webs; increase the wave height, the straight section width, depth of the beam willreduce the corrugated steel webs’s shear bearing capacity.In all of this, the key factor tocontrol the shear bearing capacity of steel webs is the depth of beam. By analyzing bendingand shear resistance of prestressed box-girder with corrugated steel webs, related conclusionscan be used in the design of the bridge as a reference.
