The gabled frame has been widely applied in our country, which is used for thestructure of factory. Currently, there are many researches about the gabled frame,which contain the gabled frame located in mining subsidence area. While, it ismeaningful to carry on land development in mining subsidence area, which canimprove the land utilization and ease land scarcity.This article mainly focuses on the research of the gabled frame plane stability inmining subsidence area, which will be impacted by the surface deformation. Throughsimulative experiment, we study the stability of the gabled frame which is impactedby the stretch surface deformation or nothing. And the load-deflection curve can beobtained. According to the extreme point of the curve, the stability capacity of framecan be achieved. Based on the data obtained by displacement meter, the deformationmodel of gabled frame can be achieved.Establishing finite model, and putting it in the same working condition withexperiment to verify the reasonability of finite model. And then we can takeadvantage of ANSYS to research our issue deeply.(1) the plane stability of gableframe will be researched, which is impacted by stretch, compression and differentialsettlement respectively.(2) The gabled frame will be put in the condition of miningsubsidence area for researching. And change rules of the gabled frame plane stabilityin subsidence area will be researched.(3) Change rules of stability bearing capacity ofgabled frame in subsidence area will be obtained, under the effect of single suffacedeformation in subsidence area. And the main effect by a specified kind ofdeformation in subsidence area will be found. We can conclude the most reasonablelocation in subsidence area for different kinds of gabled frames.Through series of research, it indicate that the stability bearing capacity ofgabled frame will be decreased by the effect of stretch deformation and will beincreased for a bit by compression and differential settlement deformation. When thegabled frame is set in mining subsidence area, the gabled frame with pinned columncan be better choice, if we try to decrease the ground deformation influence to frame.If we need the stability bearing capacity is higher, the gabled frame with hingedcolumn is better. In addition, the gabled frame with hinged column should be set inthe compression area in mining subsidence area, and the gabled frame with pinned column should be set in the edge of mining subsidence area. Meanwhile, try to choosethe gabled frame with smaller beam to column stiffiness ratio and bigger obliquebeam slope, in the permission of economic.
