Hydraulic disc braking system adopted efficient control method which combinedhydraulic control with electric control. Due to the advantages of safe, reliable, controlflexibility, large output torque, good heat dissipation and easy maintenance. Hydraulicdisc braking system has been widely used in various fields. Generally, hydraulic discbraking system is used in mine hoists. Owing to the nonlinear factors of hydraulicdisc braking system, hoist is less comfort and easy to shock during the braking whichleads to instability. In terms of the nonlinear characteristics of hydraulic hoist discbraking system, efficient control strategies have been analyzed and implemented.The composition of hydraulic disc braking system together with the developmentand research status as well as modern control methods of electronic-hydraulicproportional technology were presented, wherein the composition and characteristicsof electronic-hydraulic proportional control system are analyzed in detail.Based on the analysis of hydraulic disc braking system operation principle, thenonlinear links were found out. Software programming method is utilized to correctnonlinear of manual given. The PWM driver and the relationship between valvecurrent and PWM duty cycles of electronic-hydraulic proportional valve areexpounded. Further, the segmented control method is brought up to overcome itsnonlinear. Due to the space travel existing in disc brake, braking force is difficult tomonitor on-line. Hence, open-loop control is adopted.Hoist braking controller is designed in hardware and software. Additionally,voltage and current waveforms of critical circuits have been captured to verify theefficiency of presented controller. Finally, the installation and commissioning of hoistbraking controller are introduced.According to the experimental test and actually operation on Renlou Coal Mine,the results showed, by correcting the nonlinear links with controller, hoist can operatestably and it has a more comfortable operation feeling as well as excellent effect.The experimental test and operation on Renlou Coal Mine indicate that the hoistcan operate stably and it has a more comfortable operation feeling as well as excellenteffect by correcting the nonlinear links with controller.
