Oscilloscope, as a general measurement instruments, has been applied invarious fields. There are two types of oscilloscope: analog oscilloscope anddigital oscilloscope. Digital oscilloscope can digitally analyze and save thesignal. It has many outstanding advantages on the waveform about dataprocessing, storage, trigger, display and measurement. Therefore it favored by inall areas of the tester. It is gradually replacing the analog oscilloscope.Oscilloscope has experienced decades of development. When we pursue theperformance and function, at the same time digital, intelligent, dictionariesbecome a development trend. Now the mobile Internet era has arrived. With thedevelopment of3G wireless communication technologies, mobile devicesbecame popular.People is familiar and accustomed to touch operation. So thetouch screen will become main input devices.In this paper, the digital oscilloscope based on Android changes traditionaloscilloscope mode of operation. It makes the oscilloscope more portable andmakes the oscilloscope’s operation simple. The main research content isoscilloscope operating interface and gesture design based on Android. Itincludes the framework of software design, interface design, the design ofrelevant controls, gesture design and the realization of the function of the digitaloscilloscope.In this paper, the digital oscilloscope is touching screen operation. In orderto expand the waveform display area, menu is designed for multilevel menu.Menu can be shown or hidden. With the popularity of intelligent interactivedevices, Gestures operation because of its intuitive, fast and efficientcharacteristics has become a popular trend. Touch screen multi-touch technologysupports one or more fingers at the same time operating. There are two kinds ofgesture in this paper. One is the design of gesture based on contact locationtechnology, the other one is the design of gesture based on user-defined. Contactlocation technology identify the gestures based on touch point time,displacement, change of state, it has two kinds of gesture, single point gestureand multipoint gestures. User-defined gestures can design complex gestures, itidentify the gestures based on matching results of inputted gesture and definedgesture.
