Walking, the most primitive way of trip mode,remains an important part ofurban trip mode today. Compared to other transportation, pedestrians aredisadvantaged groups in the process of walking, Especially in the heavily usedIntersections and sections,Pedestrians are highly susceptible to damage, And thevehicle susceptible to Pedestrians. cross-street facilities can fundamentally solve theconflict of people and vehicles, ensure the safety of pedestrians, so it is widely used.The paper introduces the classification and features of the cross-street facilities.As a case study of Harbin and Jinan to introduces the application of cross-streetfacilities briefly. By investigation and analysis on survey data of Harbin thecross-street facilities and analysis, it can gets speed performance and self-organizingcharacteristic of Pedestrians. And analyzes the preference of pedestrian’scross-street facilities, Based on survey data of10cross-street facilities location inHarbin, The service performance of survey spot and pedestrian satisfaction ofcross-street facilities, can be studied.This paper studied the preference of pedestrian’s cross-street facilities fromseveral aspects, which include assuming, influencing factor, model building,parameter calibration, model test of the preference of pedestrian model By surveydata, the pedestrian preference Probit model based on SP data was built. This studyshows that the Age, gender, carry baggage weight, and escalator of cross-streetfacilities, has great influence on pedestrian choice of cross-street facilities.Based on survey data of pedestrian satisfaction, This paper studied theevaluation model on Service performance of cross-street facilities from severalaspects, which include the definition、the objective and the evaluation system ofthe evaluation model on Service performance. Firstly the author Introduces thedeficiency of the traditional entropy method in comprehensive evaluation,thencreated the evaluation model on Service performance of cross-street facilities basedon Improved entropy method. Finally the author evaluated the Service performance.of the10survey spot using the model which was built. And put forward theimprovement measures to improve the service performance of stereoscopic crossingfacilities...
