Research The Pedestrian Flow Threshold For Setting Up Crossing Facilities For Pedestrians On The City Roads

Pedestrians mainly take advantage of larger gap across the street crossing in the absence of crossing facilities.this article is mainly study the pedestrian flow characteristics,the critical gap and threshold crossing the street from the Angle of the pedestrian crossing using traffic clearance,so as to provide reference for city road pedestrian crossing facilities installed.This paper in two-lane sections as the research object.First,Taking an example of what pedestrians crossing the street using on the gap of vehicles on the road without crossing facilities,and make to the defined about the critical gap of pedestrians crossing the street and pedestrians crossing the street traffic threshold,and from two aspects: micro and macro analysis of pedestrian crossing characteristics,as well as the domestic and foreign general induction of pedestrian crossing facilities.Then,field survey pedestrian crossing speed,pedestrians crossing the street to accept or refused space,pedestrian crossing traffic,road traffic,signal cycle,such as materials,by the pedestrian crossing speed data and the pedestrian walking speed data analysis then pedestrian crossing speed is greater than the pedestrian walking speed.according to the requirements of pedestrians crossing the street space,dynamic space requirements of pedestrian crossing model,and solve the pedestrian crossing following the interval.Secondly,introduces the traffic flow distribution characteristics,gap acceptance theory and gap acceptance model,the traffic flow distribution characteristics and pedestrian crossing characteristics,respectively establish a pedestrian crossing the critical gap evenly distributed model and random distribution model,generation into the survey data,calculating the critical gap and pedestrian crossing analysis of critical clearance for pedestrian crossing.Based on this model,to set up the road the pedestrian traffic crossing the threshold,from the ordinary road sections to urban intersection,respectively established the headway negative exponential distribution,the negative exponential distribution and shift of the M3 distribution under the condition of road pedestrian traffic crossing the threshold model,establishes the "ideal" signal intersection control section,"ordinary" signal intersection control sections of threshold model of pedestrian flow crossing thestreet.Finally,with established threshold model calculate the two-lane road pedestrian traffic crossing the threshold,and signal intersection control sections of pedestrians crossing the street traffic threshold,by means of comparison and analysis,established by article threshold model is reasonable.to prove model is practical,the use of conflict zone car conflicting relationship conflict zone pedestrian,vehicle delay model is set up,using VISSIM simulation pedestrian crossing,the simulation data,determine the pedestrian crossing delay threshold,the delay threshold and pedestrian flow threshold to confirm each other,to show the article established threshold model is practical.Research significance,city roads have set or not set the pedestrian crossing facilities,or what kind of pedestrian crossing facilities,Can't just rely on big traffic crossing on the street road or big pedestrian flow crossing the street;and shall specify the mutual relationship between road traffic and pedestrian traffic crossing the street traffic,to determine pedestrians flow under the condition of given a traffic crossing the street route,and on this basis to determine whether sections need to set up the pedestrian crossing facilities.the flow of pedestrians crossing the threshold model is established in this paper the main sections explain the relationship between traffic and pedestrians crossing the street traffic,to determine the street pedestrian flow threshold,through a threshold to determine whether sections need to set up the pedestrian crossing facilities.
