With the increasing vehicle population, traffic congestion has become increasingly evident, from the perspective of the vehicle to solve the traffic problem has become the norm ideas, which led to conflicts between people and vehicles upwards. Imperative to improve the traffic problems from the perspective of pedestrians, because pedestrians are an important part of urban traffic, research on pedestrians crossing the street behavioral and psychological characteristics is the basis of pedestrian crossing facilities construction and improvements, but also an important part of improving the efficiency of transportation. Currently, solving pedestrian crossing traffic problems are mostly to be considered from the perspective of the objective environment, often overlooked pedestrian own psychological feelings, resulting in the utilization of crossing the street facilities is not high, the phenomenon of pedestrians violation repeated prohibitions.Thesis qualitatively and quantitatively analysis Pedestrian crossing traffic behavior from the perspective of psychological. Under the premise of conducting scientific investigation, analysis the main city of Chongqing pedestrian crossing traffic characteristics, introducing psychological principles established under different environmental pedestrian crossing selection preference model, qualitatively describes the pedestrian crossing mode selection process, quantify the degree of preference of crossing the street fashion choice, Providing recommendations and suggestions for crossing facilitie’s site from the perspective of pedestrian.First, through field survey analyze of the process of pedestrian crossing behavior and characteristics of Chongqing urban area, describing traffic flow parameters of pedestrian crossing, analyzing pedestrian crossing illegal procedure, the violation rate and violation factors.Second, the survey from the psychological analysis of Chongqing pedestrian crossing violation psychological, pedestrian crossing overflow psychological, pedestrian crossing facilities preference psychology, pedestrian crossing safety psychological distance, pedestrian crossing psychological acceptable detour distance, pedestrian crossing the psychological limit the waiting time for pedestrians behavior across the street provides a reasonable explanation.Then, based on prospect theory in psychological principles and intuition fuzzy number decision method, study on decision-manner of pedestrian crossing. Establishing pedestrian crossing mode selection preference model, provideing suggestions and comments from the perspective of pedestrian setting pedestrian crossing facilities.Finally,making example analysis on the South Bank district of Chongqing several representative areas(shopping malls, schools, residential areas, offices). Base on the survey data, combined with psychological principles, obtaining a variety of pedestrian crossing the street the way degree of preference in four representative regions, sort and select the degree of preference largest street manner as a basis for reasonable set street facilities. By comparing the checksum the results of the model and the results of survey questionnaire to verify the effectiveness and practicality of this model.Thesis research results provide the reasonable setting and optimization of the pedestrian crossing facilities with the reference.The construction department of planning and construction road go slow traffic system provides some reference opinions.
