The high pressure water jet is used to clean pipe and tank,because of the highpressure water jet cleaning device for facilitating mechanical control and low cost.In the topic for China Long March Rocket tank internal cleaning of tailings, theprinciple of high pressure water jet and the corresponding experiment are studied.Therefore, high pressure water jet cleaning device is designed to clean the largetank wall. The pressure and velocity distribution in the high pressure water jet andthe spray distance and the nozzle size and stress and strain distribution of thesurface are discussed heatedly in the paper. The simulation research on highpressure water jet cleaning to promote China carrier rocket tailings removal hasthe vital significance.First of all, according to the theory of fluid, we study water dynamiccharacteristic in the process of water jet injection, including the pressure andvelocity, which laid a foundation for subsequent research.Secondly, we establish the finite element model of high pressure waterinjection to study velocity and pressure influenced by the spray distance.Therefore, we calculate the area of high pressure water jet cleaning and study thevelocity and pressure when we change the nozzle spray angle.Thirdly, we establish the finite element model of high pressure water jet spraynozzle to study the velocity and pressure in the nozzle. We analyze the causes ofcavitation in the nozzle. Moreover, we created two quadratic regression equationby the Response Surface Methodology and test the regression equation to correctit.Lastly, we establish the finite element model of high pressure water jetcleaning mechanism by statics analysis to find stress and strain of the object. Weoptimize the selection of nozzle installation and modify the object. We discuss theshape of the bar calculate what pressure the object can afford. Moreover, we gethigh pressure water jet pressure distribution curve, obtain the pressure distributionequations and study the largest surface deformation through the simulation ofsurface.
