| Low-carbon development of supply chain is an important trend in global logistics. As the two main components of supply chain, inventory and transportation are where people reducing carbon emissions. Due to the perishable characteristics of products, agricultural logistics requiring rapid response logistics and cold chain facilities, which produce large amounts of inventory costs and transportation costs and carbon emissions. Nowadays, China is vigorously developing "agriculture super-docking". Supermarkets and farmer cooperatives joined together to save logistics resources, reduce product loss rate. In this paper agriculture-supermarket direct sending belongs to urban distribution. In the actual distribution process, carbon emissions are influenced by a number of objective factors such as the urban traffic congestion. Therefore it is necessary to study the distribution relationship between the large chain supermarkets and farmer cooperatives and develop a low-carbon and efficient agricultural-supermarket direct delivery system to meet the needs of future development.This paper establishes a low-carbon period inventory-routing model, considering different traffic congestion levels on transportation costs and carbon emissions. Detail steps are as following:(1)Determine the carbon emission related factors under traffic congestion. We analysis the road speed levels and calculate the fuel consumption and transportation carbon emission factors and inventory carbon emission factor.(2)Establish a low-carbon period inventory-routing model. We construct the total cost objective function which contains the inventory costs and transportation costs and the carbon emissions cost. Then we proposed an integer programming based heuristic (IPH) to solve the model, in order to solve the period inventory-routing strategy when the frequencies are uncertainty.(3) An analysis of the numerical example about large supermarket chains and the farmer cooperatives direct sending. The theoretical model is applied in practice to verify the feasibility and validity and provide some effective support about actual decision-making.This paper establishes the agriculture-supermarket direct sending low-carbon period inventory-routing optimization model considering traffic congestion. This paper enriches the research theory and methods about period inventory-routing problem. It has a strong reference value on theoretical guidance and practical applications. |
