In the new century we all face the population expansion and the shortage of energy. In order to solve the increasingly prominent energy issues, rationally developing and utilizing the limited resources existed on earth becomes more and more imminent. It has become an important hot topic in the field of contemporary scholars. This thesis research work belongs to the part of the national high technology research and development program (863program) on advanced manufacturing technology "the key technology and equipment of straw collection and compression". The main research content is as follows:(1) We design a set of composite mould in order to solve the problem about the serve mould damage and short service life, which most straw curing machine always face.We have derived the theoretical data, computed optimally and applied the finite element analysis software ABAQUS to simulated analysis, which verifies the final calculation of the composite mould parameter. The cone angle of the composite mould is designed for6°,6.5°nd7°respectively, which has a best effect on the molding. The overall working life of the composite mould has improved relatively longer,which will improve the economic benefit greatly.(2)The existing national biomass solid fuel standard, which simply followed other country without actually according to our national conditions, affects the development of the biomass fuel.We have done some experiments on biomass fuel and measured some data, which can become the basic data for the reference standards of the biomass fuel. At the same time we have studied the relationship between the value of biomass fuel combustion, the combustion rate and the moisture content of biomass fuel and loose density, which can provide the theoretical basis for its production and marketing.(3) in consideration of the need of heating and preheating during the forming process and achieving softening and melting biomass structure of lignin, which can be conducive to the compression process of the biomass straw raw material. Using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS, we can view the heat transfer process of biomass straw accord to simulate temperature field analysis. At the same time, we do the temperature-displacement coupling simulation analysis for the compression process. It has turned out that after the heating and preheating of the biomass straw raw material, the stress value decreases significantly during the forming process and the combination mould damages reduce and its working life improves relatively.(4) We put forward the correlation plan and optimize the improvement about the power device of the biomass curing machine.To most of the machine, it always faces the problem about the noise and mechanical vibration. We analyze the cause and propose the solution.
