With the development of society, the energy and environment problemscontinuously compounded. The development of new energy technology is the urgentproblem needed to be solved that brook no delay. Solar energy as an inexhaustiblegreen energy, is one of the main trend in the future development of new energy. Dishsolar thermal power technology with its high efficiency and flexibility, is increasinglyfavored by the market. However, the impact the external climatic conditions have onthe safety of dish solar thermal power system is great, especially on the condenser forits large size and dish shape. Reasearch for the effect of wind disturbance on thecondenser is very critical in the reliability design. How to explore the wind loadings ondish solar concentrator, as well as to get the best sheltered position, keep the dish solarthermal power system safe operation is a difficult problem to be solved at first.Therefore, it’s very necessary to research on the aerodynamic load characteristics ofdish solar concentrator.Therefore, this paper is supported by the regenerative energy electric-technologyproject―Analysis and Optimization on Wind Loadings on Large-Power Dish SolarConcentrator‖. Taking a combination method of theoretical calculations, numericalsimulation and aerodynamic load theory to study the characteristics of aerodynamicloadings on dish solar concentrator with different azimuth&elevation angles underdifferent winds, the innovation and research work of the paper are as follows:(1) Virtual wind tunnel experiment with constant wind was adopted to simulateand analyze the flow field of dish solar concentrator in different positions and differentwind speeds. The results not only reveal the change law of flow field of dish solarconcentrator in different azimuth angles and altitude angles under constant wind, butalso provide a theoretical basis for the safety design of dish solar concentrator underdifferent constant wind speeds.(2) Virtual wind tunnel experiment with constant wind was used to analyze theaerodynamic load on dish solar concentrator in different positions and different windspeeds. The results reveal the change law of wind forces and toques on dish solarconcentrator in different azimuth angles and altitude angles under different constantwind speeds, and provide a reference basis for the best shelter posture of dish solar concentrator.(3) Gradient wind condition in the fluid field of dish solar concertrator was set inthis paper, and the fluid field velocity change and the surface pressure change of dishsolar concentrator under gradient wind were studied based on virtual wind tunnelsimulation experiment when the azimuth angle was α=0°and altitude angle was β=0°.The change laws of fluid field velocity, reflecting surface pressure, force and toque ofdish solar concentrator were obtained. And it is of important guiding significance forthe safety design and stable working posture design of dish solar concentrator.
