Concentrator is one of the most important equipments for dish solar thermalpower system. It is of great importance to calculate out the wind load on concentrator,as it directly affects the design of the whole system and choice of motor for trackingsystem. Computational wind engineering, also known as numerical wind tunnelexperiment, has its unique advantages compared with direct wind tunnel experiment: ithas the ability to simulate real wind environment, build a computational model withprototype scale and make simulation according to the actual wind environment, whichavoids the restriction that only reduced scale experiments can be done through directwind tunnel.Currently, researches on dish solar concentrator mainly focus on itsstructure, condenser performance, economical efficiency and so on whilecomputational wind engineering has been widely adopted in buildings, urban planning,bridge and other issues and made gratifying achievements. However, few studies ofwind load on dish solar concentrator have been conducted.Therefore, in this paper, the simplified physical model of concentrator is importedinto fluid simulation software for numerical simulation, based on the advantages ofcomputational wind engineering and structural characteristics of the concentrator.Moreover, numerical simulation method and grey theory is combined to analyze thewind load characteristics and flow field of dish solar concentrator under constant wind.The innovations and main research contents are as follows:(1) Using numerical wind tunnel experiment, numerical simulation of the dishsolar concentrator is conducted, the change low for flow field and surface pressuredistribution of the concentrator under different working conditions are revealeddetailedly;(2) Based on the constructed dish solar concentrator model, wind coefficients andmoment coefficients of the concentrator under different working conditions aresummarized and analyzed, together with the change law of them with variation of windspeed, azimuth angle and elevation angle, which can provide convenience for thecalculation of wind forces and moments of similar models;(3) Fuzzy grey correlation analysis method is used to analyze influencing factorsof the largest surface pressure, lateral force, resistance force, lift force, pitchingmoment, rolling moment and bearing moment, and influencing law of the factors onthese forces and moments are revealed.
