The main components of prefabricated steel structure are prefabricated in thefactory, with the characteristics of high degree of industrialization and fast construc-tion speed. Its development is in line with the state to promote the use of steel, thedevelopment strategy of the implementation of housing industrialization and the na-tional environmental policy, which has a bright market future and developing oppor-tunity. Prefabricated steel frame structure with inclined support joints is a newhigh-rise steel frame structure. The wind effects on high-risel steel structure becomemore prominent as the structure are higher, lighter, more flexibility and less damping. Therefore, the detailed wind resistance analysis of it becomes more and more impor-tant.Based on a prefabricated steel frame structure with inclined support joints, thisthesis mainly conducts the human comfort analysis for it in along-wind direction. Thespecific content is as follows:(1) After introducing the basic characteristics of wind loads and related concepts, the thesis describes the role of wind on structures, characteristics of fluctuating windand random vibration theory.(2) It introduces simulation methods of fluctuating wind load and implementa-tion process of harmony superposition method. According to the cross-power spec-trum matrix and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the thesis simulates fluctuating windspeed and wind pressure time history of each floor by the MATLAB program. Thepower spectrum of wind speed time series sample is coincident with the aim powerspectrum curve, verifying the correctness of the simulation results.(3) The maximum acceleration response in along-wind direction is calculated byusing the codes of different countries. The results show that the calculation of the‘Load code for the design of building structures’(GB50009-2012) is larger than the‘Technical specification for steel structure of tall buildings’(JGJ99-98),but closer tothe Canadian code(NBC2005) and the Japanese code(AIJ2004). At the same time, thethesis analyzes the influence of damping ration and higher modes on the wind vibra-tion acceleration of the new steel frame structure.(4) In order to improve the building comfort, this thesis intends to use viscousdampers (VD) to control wind-induced vibration under along-wind load. According to the results of numerical simulation of fluctuating wind load and time history analy-sis of the structure, it can be seen that the simulation method of fluctuating wind inthis thesis can be used to analyze the wind-induced dynamic response of the new steelframe structure and the design of reducing vibration can effectively reduce the acce-leration of the top of the structure to improve the comfort of the building.
