Concrete sandwich insulation shear wall system is a new type of structuralsystem with insulation and it was proposed by the request of the development of greenenergy-saving and environmental protection construction. It put the insidereinforcement mesh of the shear wall as a space skeleton, contains a certain thicknessof insulation board and both sides are pouring concrete which are connected by astretch. They work together to bear the main vertical load, horizontal shear and somemoments. The structural system has been applied in the construction industry by thegood characteristics of light weight, high strength, sound insulation, thermalinsulation, and good mechanical performance. It also has made some achievements intheory. But compared with the general shear wall, the concrete sandwich insulationshear wall still exits such shortcomings of complex structure, low constructionefficiency and poor construction quality.Therefore, this thesis started on improving sandwich insulation shear wall const-ruction technology and explored its flexural mechanical properties. Combined withthe existing theoretical foundation and technology, this thesis designed a set ofexperiments to research and analysis. The main contents are as follows:(1) Through the design of various components of the sandwich insulation layer(insulation piece, holes reinforcement and insulation board stiffeners), the deforma-tion and shifting of the insulation layer under the pressure of situ concrete wereexplored.(2) By laying stress boxes at the different height of the walls, the pressure oftemplate generated by self-compacting concrete was monitored in real time.(3) By changing the presence or absence of insulation piece in the holes of XPS,the ultimate bearing capacity of the insulation shear walls under the action of bendingand the collaborative work performance of the concrete on both sides were studied.(4) Through the strain gauges that were pasted on reinforced within short column,the stress state of the reinforced concrete short column in the process of the bendingwas studied.(5) According to the experimental results and numerical analysis, in order toimprove the quality and efficiency of construction, some reasonably practicableproposals for the design and construction of the concrete sandwich thermal insulation shear wall and some problems that should be noted in construction were put forward.
