Rubber V-belt Continuously Variable Transmission get widely attention with itssteady transmission, simple structure and operation. The heart of Rubber V-beltContinuously Variable Transmission is how to get the reasonable transmission toadapt to the changes of different conditions. The mechanism of transmission becomemore reasonable and the performance of product is improved after continuousresearches, but the control mechanism of Rubber V-belt Continuously VariableTransmission is not recognized clearly and there are some problems to restrict thedevelopment of Rubber V-belt Continuously Variable Transmission, such as the axialcompression devices without reliable theory.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:1) Model of the engine is established according to the throttle,speed,torque andthe characteristics of power and torque of engine are obtained.2) The characteristic map of output torque of engine and load torque are analysedand the boundary conditions of engine working steadily are study by use of the modelof engine which established in the paper.3)The fuel consumption of engine is researched and the fuel economy of powermap of engine is analysed.4)The method to get the property of ratio changing of rubber V-belt is got in thispaper.Using the CVT to match the economic line of engine work that got in the paperand the characteristic of ratio changing is studied under road condition and climbingcondition.5)The property of ratio changing and the fuel economy of the snowmobile arestudied.At last the optimum of property of ratio changing is made in this paper.
