With the world energy dilemma and environment being worse and worse, clean energy has developed, the development of clean energy especially wind power has become the main method to solve the global energy problem. The mature technology development of wind power industry makes wind power indispensable backbone in the field of clean energy power. However, as the increasing installed capacity of the wind turbines, the problem that various wind farm equipments fail and damage are highlighted, united failure seriously affects the safe operation of the unit, increases the unnecessary economic loss of wind farms and influence the economic benefits of power plant. Excessive and not timely maintenance management threatens the operation of the unit, causes the economic losses of power plant and affects the economic benefits of power plant. The regular maintenance system can’t meet the demand of the scene, the condition-based maintenance has become the development trend of the future to the power plant equipment.This article takes the current wind turbine as the research object, research on wind turbine condition maintenance decision,, explores respectively from the equipment real-time reliability evaluation and the status maintenance timing decisions based on the the inherent reliability analysis of equipment lifecycle, and forms perfect wind farm equipment state maintenance decision-making mechanism combined with the fault warning and fault diagnosis to ensure that the wind turbines operating safety, reliability, and "zero fault".The research contents of this article are shown below:1. This article roundly analyzed the maintenance object of wind power equipment, structured maintenance analysis and decision-making knowledge, which provided intellectual support for condition-based maintenance decision-making. Then, Through analysis of wind turbines, the important feature, the reliability of structure and the monitoring of the research object of condition-based maintenance decision, basic information is provided for selecting different real-time reliability maintenance decision model for wind turbines different equipment analysis and the following maintenance decision process.2. This article establishes maintenance decision model of the wind turbine based on real-time reliability theory, evaluates the real-time running status of units and equipment at any time with the wind farm online monitoring data, understand the current state of wind power equipment and the equipment state division, the development trend of wind power equipment state and the speed of state change is judged through the establishment of real-time reliability trend prediction model and the operation and maintenance advice is given according to the state of the preset threshold.3. This article establishes the maintenance decision-making model based on proportional risk analysis, puts forward a set of complete state maintenance decision-making system combined with the existing wind fault early warning, the development of diagnostic technology, realizes the parameter estimation of the model through the MATLAB programming based on the maximum availability which is used to determine the optimal threshold value of maintenance, draws the maintenance decision-making curve, gets the optimal maintenance time through the actual wind turbine monitoring data in maintenance decision diagram tracing point.
