With increasing energy and environmental issues, a variety of new energy projects are being carried out in full swing in progress, the super capacitor been shipped in urban public transport is one aspect. For the stable development of urban public transport plays an important role in the city, large numbers of people choose public transport will reduce traffic congestion in the city, and the choice of public transport for the improvement of the urban environment is also a huge benefit. During this year, all over the frequent fog and haze, one of the main reasons is that too many private cars; city car exhaust air is heavily polluted. In this Thesis, specific projects in laboratory are used, including two involving car super capacitor energy storage system applications:super capacitor buses and light rail super capacitor.As the super capacitor buses charging capacity is not large, and its impact on the grid caused by the charge is not large, we use12-pulse rectifier converter combined chopper charging device, the charging device can meet the requirements of power factor and harmonic. Data was provided by the transport company in Zhejiang Province, model examples of charging device was created in PSCAD, and super capacitor bus charging unit charging power quality problems arising out of the analysis and evaluation. Analysis indicators including harmonics, fluctuation and flicker, voltage deviation, frequency deviation. In order to further reduce the influence of the charging device on the grid harmonics higher power factor, transmission power adaptation (eg800kW) requirements, combined with the actual test data is presented based on a combination of three-phase PWM inverter parallel chopper Charging unit converter topology. This article is for super capacitor charging light rail main circuit topology device parameter mathematical model analysis and design. Then build a charging device in PSCAD simulation model fits the study, the impact on the grid caused by its analysis and study, and the efficiency of the whole device is a simple analysis calculations.The application of the twelve pulse rectifier and PWM rectifier in charging device, can reduce the influence of harmonic to the power grid in charging, improve power factor of the whole device.
