Nowadays, China is trying hard to develop its renewable energy technology as well as upgrade its country more suitable for living. Generating electricity by using the local sunshine, wind and water resources is a major way to solve the problem of faraway and poor areas having no power to use. China Agricultural University developed a household Wind/PV/micro-Hydro hybrid generation system with the support of State Scientific and Technological Support Plan and this paper developed a dispatching controller for this system. Problems solved are as follows:(1)Characteristics of the power translators are summed up and strategies of how to control the power units of this Wind/PV/micro-Hydro hybrid generation system are brought out by analyzing every part’s specialty;the state space of this system is defined; the logic of how this system’s running state shift is given.(2)A real-time optimizing dispatching model based on the Wind/PV/micro-Hydro hybrid generation system is presented and calculated. This model can adjust the running point of the system at any moment, maximize the input of the renewable energy generation by controlling the sources、load as well as the battery and improve the efficiency. In calculation, this paper decomposes the original model to make it easier and quicker to calculate. Finally, running statistics proved this method efficiency and economical.(3)A real-time optimizing dispatching controller is developed based on ARM9. The controller’s hardware is designed and debugged and all software related is written. This controller is running in good condition starting from March2012, in a village of Beijing where this Wind/PV/micro-Hydro hybrid generation system is located.
